Terms and Conditions for the registration and attendance of Events organised and conducted by the “ICC CCS” – International Chamber of Commerce Commercial Crime Services
Registration for the Event
- Admittance to the Event is subject to registering and making a full payment for the event.
- The Organizers reserve the right to refuse admission to a registered participant if the event fees have not been fully paid.
- When registering for the Event, participants must provide ICC CCS with accurate and complete Registration Details. It is the participant’s responsibility to inform ICC CCS of any changes to that information (including, without limitation, your email address).
- All registrations are subject to availability and to acceptance by ICC CCS at its absolute discretion.
- It is the responsibility of the participant to inform ICC CCS of any special dietary requirements at the time of registration.
- By attending the Event you acknowledge that photographs may take place at the Event. ICC CCS reserves the right to use images recorded at the Event with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials, including social media channels, websites, and print material, without obtaining any further approval from you or making any payment to you.
- Registered participants may be substituted by other individuals from the same organisation at no extra cost by notice in writing to ICC CCS at any time, subject to compliance with these Terms, including (without limitation) the need for any substitute individuals to provide Registration Details at least two business days in advance of attending the Event and subject to screening.
Venue and Attendance Requirements
- Observe the rules, policies and procedures of the Event Venue including in relation to health and safety and any reasonable instructions issued by ICC CCS and/or the management of the Event Venue.
- Behave in a respectful, professional and appropriate way that does not breach the laws or regulations of their home country or of the host country or that risks bringing the Event or ICC CCS into disrepute.
- Ensure they have adequate insurance for their own requirements, including personal accident, medical and travel insurance, prior to attending the Event.
- Ensure they have all necessary travel documentation, including but not limited to visas and other entry permits into the country where the Event is held, and that they comply with all health formalities and any applicable laws.
- Agree that travel to and attendance at the Event is at their own risk and not the responsibility of ICC CCS. ICC CCS is not obliged to provide any advice or assistance relating to the obtaining of visas. Failure by any Participant to obtain a visa to attend an Event shall not entitle him or her to a refund of any Fees.
Participant Obligations
- ICC CCS reserves the right to recover from you any loss or damage incurred or suffered by ICC CCS, the Event Venue or any other Participants as a result of your conduct at the Event or failure to comply with these Terms. In such circumstances, the Participant or the organisation they represent shall not be entitled to a refund of any Fees.
Fees
- Payment in full of any applicable Fees for the Event is due three weeks before the start of the event. If such payment is insufficient or declined for any reason, ICC CCS reserves the right to refuse entry to the Event.
- Fees are exclusive of amounts in respect of any applicable value added tax (VAT) or similar sales tax. If VAT or other sales tax is chargeable, Participants shall be required to pay to ICC CCS such additional amounts in respect of such tax as are chargeable in relation to the Fee.
Intellectual Property Rights
- All Intellectual Property Rights in and to the Event and in the Content relating to and presented during the Event are the property of ICC CCS or its third-party content providers.
- Participants may use the presented content solely for their benefit and for the benefit of their organisations only.
- The presented content is strictly confidential and not for resale, distribution or any other commercial purposes.
- Taking photographs or recording of the presentations is not permitted.
